Orange Uniting Church is the most central church in Orange and traces its history in this location all the way back to 1849.
You will find us at 217 Anson Street, Orange, between Summer Street and Byng street, beside the Ex-Services Club.
Currently, we worship as a hybrid congregation due to COVID 19 restrictions. That means that you can attend in person or watch online.
If you would like to come and worship in person in Orange on Sundays at 9.30 am for the Combined Summer Service:
If you have any trouble with registering online, please make contact and we can do it for you.
Our maximum under COVID 19 guidelines is 100 people at each service, so if you turn up and have not registered you may find that there is not enough room for you.
On arrival you will be required to register using the Service NSW app and QR scanner on your smart phone. If you do not have a smart phone, please use the tablet provided, or be assisted by one of our welcomers to do this.
If you have already registered as a regular attendee, you do not need to register again.
If you would prefer not to attend in person:
Get in touch via the contact page if you would like the Zoom details.
Prior to COVID 19 our practice was as follows:
The congregation gathers as a group of all ages at 9.30 am every Sunday.
Children are catered for through a child friendly start to the service followed by Sunday School for ages 0-12 at about 9.50am.
There is a children’s play area in the church for younger children to keep them entertained throughout the service if their parents would rather keep them in the church for the whole time.
Worship is blended with a mix of new and old styles.
Music is varied with the use of organ, piano, guitar and other instruments.
Please come along and meet us and stay for morning tea after the service.
On a Sunday we have a large car park available behind the church hall.
Feel free to drive in, find a spot and make your way into the church.
