Saturday evenings from 5 - 6pm. A small team of people from the church and across the Orange community serve hot take-away meals from the hall behind Orange Uniting Church on Anson Street. This is to support people who are struggling to provide a hot meal on weekends, especially those who may be homeless or otherwise disadvantaged, in the cold winter weather. This ministry is also supported by other agencies and individuals from accoss the community.
The Mustard Tree Cafe is a community outreach mission activity offering friendship and a budget price meal. We open each Wednesday during school term from 12 noon in the Main Hall behind Orange Uniting Church on Anson Street.
Markets on the Lawn is an initiative of the Orange Uniting Church to support local people, local business and local products! We want to be a part of the Orange community by supporting, encouraging and coming alongside.
On the market days there is plenty to see, including a selection of creative arts, crafts, food and handmade stalls.
Check the Markets on the Lawn FaceBook page for up to date information.
We work closely with Uniting, the social justice arm of the Uniting Church.
We regularly welcome the boarders and staff of Kinross Wolaroi School (a school of the Uniting Church) to worship and also enjoy a close relationship in other areas of school and church life within the community.
